If you wish to display a lot of information on your family tree / genogram, use the Text Label and enter the text. The Text Label is far more reliable, as you have control on flow of the text and the exact position where you want it to appear, and you may also change the font size if necessary. The problem with GenoPro displaying the attributes, such as the occupation or education, is often the text is too long and overlaps with the attributes of other siblings. If only you could get the Text Label to move with the person!

I think you are correct that you either display a standard view or a custom tag on the genogram. Having said that the information in a custom tag can be complex. Have you seen the XML Toolkit? This is a skin as an extension of the Report Writer which allows you to create a Cusrom Tag from existing data. Having created a basic tag, this can be edited to show different data for specific individuals.

Hello!
Is there any way to have my genogram display more than one of the attributes I'm giving each person? When I use Display, I seem to have to choose between, for example, showing the dates of birth/death OR an alternative name OR a custom tag. Surely there must be some way to show more than one field?
Oh, and it seems like the answer is no, but it's not possible to display different amounts of information for each person, is it? For example, to show an alternative name for one individual but custom tags for another?
Thanks!
