I am trying to find out if it is possible for our instructors (I work in an academic institution) to have the access to add, view, and edit any and all information however only give read/view access to the students as we do not wish for them to make changes to the software.

I am curious if there is a way to restrict users access to the program and its features. In other words I am trying to
find
out if it is possible for our instructors (I work in an
academic
institution
) to have the access to add, view, and edit any and all
information
however only give read/view access to the students as we do not wish for them to make changes to the software. If this is not possible through the software can you tell me if the trial version of the software is inclusive enough that we could test putting the software on our server and trying to restrict the access to the database and other features as this would still allow us to use the program as intended. Thank you for your time!
