- I was looking for something, clicked on the Family Relationship box, it appeared in the middle of my family tree and now I can not get rid of it. How do I remove the yellow background box from overlaying a portion of my family tree?

I'm not sure about what you mean.
Could you please post a snap shot of (part of) your screen?

If you have a yellow box labelled Family Relationship, it is a form of legend. You can select it by clicking on the black line outline and then it can be deleted. If you noticed something straight away you can usually get rid of it by clicking the Undo symbol on the top menu, or the keyboard shortcut of Ctrl+Z. This undo shortcut works in most Windows programs - very useful

Thank you. It did not work exactly as you had stated but gave me enough info that I was able to take it from there. When I clicked on the black line all that was deleted was the black line. However I was then able to click on each little icon, line and label and delete them individualy (pain in the butt) but was able to get rid of them. For sections that were not overlying a person in my FT, I was able to expand a box around them and deltet the whole section.

Applying a bit of lateral thinking, there is an alternative method: click on any individual in your tree, right-click on that individual, then click on Select - Select Entire Tree; you can then drag your tree out of the way of the legend, and delete the legend by selecting it as described.
