Thanks, that sorted that red fill issue, the other line was a pedigree link and was supposed to be there so that 's ok. Again, many thanks for taking the time to reply Wink

The bottom half red issue is most probably relate to medical setting (http://www.genopro.com/genogram/medical/).

Me again Crazy Things are going really well at this point and I am now back 5 generations and at the year 1820 BigGrin
Two problems tonight : I have several gender icons which have the bottom half coloured red???? Secondly there are a set of great grandparents who I have just found had a seventh child is not on my genogram. When I right clicked on them and "add new son" it did but also added a second line dropping from the parents to the new son. Can I get rid of this second line? Thanks in advance
