This one is really weird.
I have formatting set for many of my
individuals
. Mostly, I just fill them in with a blue
color
if they are blood relatives, but there are a few other colors I use, too.
Today, as I was adding
sources
to individuals, I noticed something odd. I would open the
individual's properties
, then do Ctrl+Shift+Tab 4 times to get to the Sources tab (which would take me through the
Display tab
). When I made my change and entered, the individual's color formatting would be cleared.
After some experimentation, it seems that the coloring gets cleared any time the Display tab is accessed, then the Sources tab, then "OK" is clicked (or "Enter" pressed). This happend when I Ctrl+Tab'd all the way through all the tabs and stopped on "Sources" a second time through, or just by clicking the tabs in "Display" -> "Sources" order. I didn't do an exhaustive investigation, so I don't know if this applies to other tabs as well. I really hope it's just formatting (easy to catch) and not actual individual data (very unlikely to be noticed when the problem occurs).
I'm using 2.5.4.1, which as of this post is the most current version (according to the
auto
-updater).
