My registration key expired 13 days ago. I turned my genogram in for an assignment 14 days ago and now my professor can't open it. I was never informed I needed to save it as a Word document until now. Is there any way I can receive a one day key for free just so that I can save it to a word doc. and not have to do the assignment over again?

Thank you,

Kristina

If you gave your professor a copy of your .gno file, the fact that your registration has expired is irrelevant. The registration is on the program, not the data.
If you want to check that your .gno file is OK then you can look at it in this way.
Make a copy somehow, so you do not loose the original.
Rename it from gno to zip (Ignore messages saying this can cause problems)
Extract the file (Right click and choose 'Extract All...' or equivalent if not using XP)
Open the resulting .xml file which will be a text file, second line reading '-<GenoPro>'

If this looks correct it is possible your professor has the problem. Can't help there.

You do not need a registration key to open or print any family tree.  If you wish to transfer to Word, just copy (Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C) your family tree, and paste it (Ctrl+V) in the program you wish (MS Word).

Feel free to use the following key 7EU-WNs-ANC-NZQ-TMP which is valid for 180 days.
