Hi

I would like to use the immigration symbols however they seem to be the wrong way round. The standard representation for immigration is two squiggly lines and for living in multiple cultures one squiggly line.

In Genopro they appear to have been reversed so one squiggly line shows immigration and two is multiple cultures.  Although we can update the legend when using these symbols, it would be helpful if they could be correctly attributed. This is especially important when sharing genograms between professionals, to ensure consistency.

Many thanks Smile

Jo

Thanks for the update.  When we [re]designed the immigration symbols, we worked closely with Monica McGoldrick who is the founder of The Multicultural Family Institute.  I forgot why we chosed the immigration symbols this way, however they had the personal approval of Monica.

There are lots of variants in the genogram symbols... over time we hope the various genogram symbols will converge to a more defined standard.

Hi

I have downloaded the ebook from the Multicultural Family Institute which details the symbols and it shows the symbols the other way around, as stated in my original email. I have tried to attach an image from the document which shows this. Hope it works!

Please could you adjust the symbols in the programme to reflect this?

Many thanks

Jo
