English Narrative Report version 2013-02-17 [corrected] I selected theme 10 (olive branch …) In the “Theme settings”menu and “In line with menu icons and …”.
So I expected the Report Title to show upbetween the [help] button on its left and the GenoPro logo on its right but the home page shows no report title at all. I tried to upload a screen shot in this topic with the "insert image" option but was unable to do so. No message from the forum software, no reaction at all.
But I guess this is simple enough to reproduce. Nand

The version number in the base note was indeed a typo. It has been corrected.
I believe you tested with theme #9 (icons) and not #10 (buttons) like I did.
I just ran the tests again. It works OK with #9, but not with #10.
Don't spoil your Sunday with this. It can wait.

I seem that the theme 10 (as themes 2 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 8 - 11) is not with icons, but with buttons text.
The title on the same line is available only with the icon-based menu.
I so understand.

If that is the rule I would expect not to see conflicting or impossible options in "Other Presentation Settings/Position of the Report Title".

My rapidly failing memory is coming back to me.
When I implemented this it was purely to get back the title position of the original report. I had assumed that no-one would want to put the title on the line with text buttons because they were centred leaving no room for a title. Obviously I could left align the text buttons to give more space but it is still more limited than with icon buttons.
I agree with with Vittorino that the limitation should be made clearer, perhaps in the description to the other presentation settings.
At the moment all form validation is performed post submission and so the easier options are either to give and error if such a selection is made and then re-display the parameters dialogue or just to give a warning of no title and carry on.
I feel that the effort required to limit the 'other presentation settings' according to which theme was selected is too great but it just may be possible to provide validation within the form pre submission.
