When opening GNO file or searching for something, I never watch the log messages in the log window (there are usually just warnings, not errors). But I have to close it every time after these operations as it covers both scroll bars.
It would be nice to have
  1. a new option for disabling this window
  2. if enabled, move/resize this window to keep scrollbars accessible
  3. if disabled, show this window just when errors are detected.

I find that if the log is reduced in size it can be moved to the top left of the display where it is hardly visible. It does not need to be closed, just ignored until needed.
