I've been using the built-in Gedcom report generator for years now and for some reason it is not working for me any more.  This is the 'Export to Gedcom [EN]' Report Skin for generating a report on the whole document from a selected .GNO file.  I am running Windows 7 and have not changed anything significant since last running the report generator a few months ago.  I tried rebooting and updating/reinstalling GenoPro to no avail (I have GenoPro 2011 v2.5.4.1 installed).
Some other reports are working fine such as Birthday Listing and Display All Comments, but the Descendant Report also is not working for me.  I see that the report skins are now built into the GenoPro executable file, but just to check, I also downloaded the latest skin for the Gedcom report generator (Gedcom_2013.03.19.zip) but the same thing happens... no .GED file is generated (the output dialog shows 1 page being generated, but only the .js and .xml files appear in the output directory).
I tried the report generator on some older files which worked before and they do not work now either.  Could there be an issue with Internet Explorer since I believe that is used to process the report?  I use Firefox normally but IE is still installed with the latest update v10.09.
Here is the output dialog from the GenoPro Report Generator:
Generating report to 'G:\Data\Apr13\'
Cloning document Fonda_Apr13...
Opening configuration file Config.xml for skin 'Export to Gedcom'...
Loading Dictionary.xml...
[0.00] Processing template 'Gedcom.js'...
To disable display of parameter settings, tick the box under 'Options' tab of 'Generate Report' dialog.
Generated 1 page (1 pages unchanged) in 1.529 seconds
[1.52] Writing files from skin...
[1.52] Writing 124 pictures to report...
[1.52] Report Ready!  Click on the "Close" button to continue.
Your assistance is appreciated.

OK, the problem was IE10... it had updated on my system last month through Microsoft automatic updates... apparently IE10 has some bugs.
Anyway, I saw that Internet Explorer was not coming up to show the normal Options dialog produced by GenoPro report generator.
So I reverted back to IE9 and Report Generator works again!  Maybe Microsoft will fix the bug in IE10, but for now, use IE9.
Here is how to uninstall IE10 and revert back to IE9:
http://news.softpedia.com/news/How-to-Remove-IE10-and-Get-Back-to-IE9-on-Windows-7-308998.shtml

REMOVING IE 10

To remove IE 10 from Windows 7 (and automatically reinstall IE 9):

Click Start > Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program.
Select the option to View Installed Windows updates.
Select the update labeled for Internet Explorer 10, right-click and select Uninstall.
After a reboot, your IE 9 will be restored.
And to block the update from installing IE10 again:

Or, run MS Updates in manual and deselect the IE10 Upgrade each time.

Cheers.

Well I am not surprised that once again a new release of IE has thrown up issues, given it's pretty abysmal track record!

I would be interested to know if the latest Narrative Report Config Parameters dialog runs OK with IE 10. Hopefully the switch to HTA rather than the IE ActiveX control means it does.

I intend to move the Config Params dialog in other reports to HTA in due course but of course you can turn off the dialog and avoid IE all together by setting the checkbox under the 'Generate Report 'Options' tab.

I just did a few tests on a Windows 7 system with IE10.

Both English Narrative Report versions 2013.02.17 (using the previous parameter settings form) and 2013.04.08 (using the new, tabbed layout) work OK for me.

The Export to Gedcom 2013.03.19 also runs OK.
