Use external hyperlinks. To start select an individual in one tree and open the properties menu. Open the hyperlink tab and Browse to the next file. This will create a link. If this is not absolutely correct, use the notes on the hyperlink tab to create a specific link using Permanent ID.
You will also need to create a return link (if you want one)

Just to provide some hard numbers: I have over 9000 individuals total between the five largest files, and a couple of smaller files with (currently) less than a hundred individuals in each.

I have a related question with a slightly different situation. I already have several separate large genograms (in separate files), and I was wondering if there is a way to create hyperlinks between existing individuals in different genograms without creating a new individual on one end or the other. If necessary, I can move them all to separate genomaps in the same file.

Guessing that you have imported a gedcom it usually loks a mess with such a large data set. There have been many posts in the past about gedcom import. I would start with a 'top' ancestor and select him/her. Either use the menu icons or right click and in that menu go to Select and choose Direct Descendants. This will highlight part of the tree. Put the cursor over the selection and right click; move to GenoMap 2. This will extract a section and if it is still confused use the AutoArrange on the Tools menu. This is normally only a first sort and manual movements are normally needed. With 1000+ people it is not usually realistic to have all on one sheet. However hyperlinks are generted automatically, so the tree is still possible. If you want all on one sheet, then first split it into managable parts and clean up and then move back

I have just imported my Ancestry website family tree into Genopro and am completely at a loss. My tree has over 1,000 people in it and the description/video of how to split it would probably take as many years as I have been working on the tree. Can someone please tell me of a realistic way to handle this amount of people in Genopro.
