Heh. I was wondering why my signature's version number was out of date. I also do my own backups, but now that I know how to fix the version number, I may do an online backup as well... but I'd like to get my dozen or so .gno files consolidated first.

Thanks for the advice appleshaw but I do 2 weekly full disc image backups to 2 external hard drives and I backup the .gno file to my personal web space so I'm OK there. However, I've just done a 'backup' to the Genopro server to get 2.5.4.1 displayed in my sig.

If you have never made an online backup, now is the time to do it. I have only had two hard discs crash on me and had enough back ups. If you look through the forum you see several sad stories of users who have lost their files. Backup and restore are on the main file menu.

I believe the version will update if you save a tree to the GenoPro server (or do an online backup). I can't remember doing either of those!!

All contact has to be through this forum. Response is fairly quick on how to use it. If it is commercial the answer has to come from GenoPro - who operate on a diffferent time zone to UK. Are you using the latest version? The forum has you on an early version
