In addition to what others have indicated above, you can go to File>Export and then choose Export Metafile. This will create an .
emf
file. This file can then be imported into a word document as a
picture
.
Considerations: - it will copy the entire file. You may not want some
information
copied. Sometimes saving the file as a back up and deleting what you don't want copied is quick. Or sometimes turning off the
emotional relationship
display is all that is needed.
I have found setting up the size first can
help
for importing it into a word document,
report
, etc. To do this, go to File >
Page Layout
before exporting the back up file.

To copy a small
genogram
or a selected part of a genogram into a Word document.
Select the required portion of the genogram.
(Click and drag a box or use the Select
toolbar
buttons)
Copy (CTRL/C)
Open the Word document.
Paste (CTRL/V)
In Word: Format>Picture to resize, crop, reposition the diagram.

Do you know how to view pictures in the genogram? You select the
individual
, and press the letter
I
(or right-click with the mouse to display the context menu and select
Display Primary Picture)
.
When you copy & paste of a genogram from GenoPro to a Word document, the pictures are copied as well.
