Hi,

GenoPro user CoppersEnd has created an impressive family tree (Atkinson Family Tree) which has come up in Google lists when I search on family names.  Unfortunately, it has a major inaccuracy, listing my father's brother as an only child.  This inaccuracy has upset my 95 year old father and we would like to put the records straight.

I have tried contacting CoppersEnd through GenoPro but I receive an error message when submitting, and I'm guessing this may be because the user is no longer registered on site or they have changed their email address.  CoppersEnd has not visited the site since 2011.

The family tree that CoppersEnd has produced is truely impressive and is such an important source of information for others that I would not like to see it taken down from the internet.  However, I would dearly like to get this inaccuracy corrected for my father and future generations of our family.  Would GenoPro have address details for CoppersEnd that they could forward a letter on to if I send them one and cover the cost, or is there any other course of action that can be advised?

Best regards

George Ryley (GenoPro user: trefenter)

I forwarded you the email of the author of publication CoppersEnd.  If there is no response, I can "zip" the whole publication and give it to you, so you may continue.  If you publish a replacement of CoppersEnd with corrections, then we will hide the publication of CoppersEnd until he shows up.
