Hi,
GenoPro user CoppersEnd has created an impressive
family tree
(Atkinson Family Tree) which has come up in Google lists when I
search
on
family names
. Unfortunately, it has a major inaccuracy, listing my father's brother as an only child. This inaccuracy has upset my 95
year
old father and we would like to put the records straight.
I have tried contacting CoppersEnd through GenoPro but I receive an
error
message when submitting, and I'm guessing this may be because the user is no longer registered on site or they have changed their email
address
. CoppersEnd has not visited the site since
2011
.
The family tree that CoppersEnd has produced is truely impressive and is such an important
source
of
information
for others that I would not like to see it taken down from the internet. However, I would dearly like to get this inaccuracy corrected for my father and future generations of our
family
. Would GenoPro have address details for CoppersEnd that they could forward a letter on to if I
send
them one and cover the cost, or is there any other course of action that can be advised?
Best regards
George Ryley (GenoPro user: trefenter)

I forwarded you the email of the author of publication CoppersEnd. If there is no response, I can "zip" the whole publication and give it to you, so you may continue. If you
publish
a replacement of CoppersEnd with corrections, then we will hide the publication of CoppersEnd until he shows up.
