I just tried
latest version
0.12 of wkhtmltopdf and found it crashed with entry point point_except1 not found
error
. So I downloaded
0.11.0_rc1 from
http://wkhtmltopdf.org/old-downloads.html
and this seems to be OK. Yes you do need to install it and make sure the skin knows where to find it by checking/setting path in PDF Conversion tab. You should end up with a .pdf file. Note that the report destination folder must be a local folder and not a web location.
I am aware of another issue with picture details taht causes the skin to crash and will put up a fix for that soon.

Thank you for creating that new
Narrative report
with the ability to create a PDF file of a Genopro
Tree
.
I just want to make sure I'm doing everything correctly.
Under the
Print Settings
:
I'm checking "Produce 'Book' style
Report
instead of standard HTML Web Report", and changing the Page Size to Letter from A4, since I'm in North America.
Under PDF conversion:
I assume I have to
install
that program on my
Laptop
. I am running Windows 8.1 .. which version of that file do you recommend? I tried both 64 bit versions and it managed to spit out a .txt file. How do I generate a PDF file from that?
Thanks in advance!
