Hello,
I have been using GenoPro for many
years
, currently Ver. 2.5.4.1, and have just
installed
the trial version of Genopro2016
I can open my .gno file from version 2.5.4.1 in Genopro 2016, but when I try to save the (unedited) opened file with a new name (as a
backup
in case Genopro201 corrupts my 2.5.4.1 data) using the
"Save as"
command; this fails with Genopro2016 reporting
Unable to connect to server to list files.
The URL is invalid
I am using window 7 64 bit Professional, but genopro installed its-self into C:\Program Files (x86)

Re problem saving changes. Until Dan can fix this you can make an '
Online Backup
' of the changed file, with a new name if required. Then if you 'Open
InBox
and Online Backups' and open the file, GenoPro will open it and also copy it down to your 'My Documents' folder under 'My GenoPro Files/My Backups'. Further saves will then be made there.

Using the Save as command; this fails with Genopro2016 reporting. Unable to connect to server to list files. The URL is invalid
I have been testing the
Save
command with Ctrl+S on a new document however forgot to test the
Save As
. The bug is a result of leftover code of the
collaboration
module which was 'hacking' the
Save As
command.
I fixed the code, and if you re-
download
http://www.genopro.com/download/InstallGenoPro2016.exe
, it should work.
