I have the message
The display order of children does not match their
date of births
because children have been added without taking care of birthdate. this is not a problem for me as the
reports
are correct
Is there a possibility to filter this message ?
thanks for any answer
best regards, Guy Przytula

I fully understand the necessity, however the current architecture of GenoPro 2016 does not support this. This is why it will be in

I am very happy to hear that
Problem Spotter
filters are coming in GenoProX. Upon first
upgrading
to 2016, I had over 700 problems reported in a file of over 11,000
individuals
, many of them display issues that needed to be corrected (overlapping individuals, parents below or children above
family lines
).
As of Friday evening, I am now down to 119 problems, and 115 of them are birth order / display order. The other four are birthdate issues related to the same two
siblings
, which will be resolved only with further research.
Regarding birth order: It is next to impossible to achieve perfect birth order display arrangement over more than two generations if you're also maintaining the standard genealogical convention of father on the left, mother on the right, unless you don't care
about
having spouses in visual proximity to each other, which leads to a lot of long horizontal lines in the
genogram
, which is still a problem for me in the above file even after eliminating almost 600 issues. But for now, my next project is combining several
separate files
into one, including the aforementioned file, which is not the biggest.
