After many successful years suddenly the report generation fails by error message: "Unsuccessful connection to the server; you should check the firewall settings, the name of the server, and the port number https://familytrees.genopro.com/Laszlo%20Homola/Rihmer/GenoProCache.xml "
The firewall setting is ok, hence I can connect to genopro. The name of the server is ok, hence I can prepare on-line backup eg. The port number is 80 in the dialog box of the web publication, however I can not change this. I can access my account by my user ID and my pw. The target folder of the report is set as: genopro://Laszlo Homola:"my PW"@familytrees.genopro.com/Rihmer Could you help me please what to do!

The report generation log sais that it will connect: http://familytrees.genopro.com server If I try it by browser it works. However the error message sais that the fail is to connect http s://familytrees.genopro.com server If I try it by browser it really does not work. So I have upgraded to Genorpo2016 and the problem is solved - for the first run ONLY.
It means that by introducing the v2016 Genopro changed the protocol of web sharing from http to https, which means that the older v2011 version can not use this function any longer, hence there is no way to set it up...... However when I tried to run the report next, the same error message occured!!!! I'm lost.... Could somebody help me please!!!!!

I do not know why GenoPro should be trying to use https to view a report that has just been generated, but you can always just put the correct URL in your browsers address bar when you wish to view it again e.g. paste this http://familytrees.genopro.com/Laszlo%20Homola/Rihmer/
This is possibly aWindows issue as I suspect GenoPro just tells Windows to open the default.htm URL. Windows then launches your default browser as passes it the URL maybe without a scheme? (http or https)
