Apparently I do a lot of wishful thinking, looking at the number of topics in this category that I've posted recently in.
Anyway, there are some glaring omissions from the "cause of death" list, particularly for those working on genealogies that extend back before antibiotics became available.
1. Hepatitis / Liver Failure: Given that Nephritis / Kidney Failure is in the list, this omission surprises me.
2. Smallpox: For colonial-era genealogies, this is a huge omission.
3. I would separate Pneumonia and Tuberculosis (each separate from the other) from other respiratory issues.
4. Alzheimer's should also include other dementia illnesses, or make "Non-Alzheimer's dementia" a separate entry (this would be my preferred solution).
There are others that come to mind, but we have the "Specify" field for a reason; that's why I'm fine with having "Cancer" as a single entry.

GenoPro 2016 has no support to expand an existing list, however the architecture of GenoProX does. This will solve the problem of almost all lists, which someone wants to add a new field to a list.

Interesting. Will this list expansion include name formats (for "Full Name" and "Display Name" options)? This is something I've been complaining about for a while now, if you've been following my posts in this section (Wish List) for any length of time at all. But the hiatus in development has taught me patience, and I'm pretty good at it now.

Yes, all enumerations, from cause of death to occupation to ceremony officiator. There are just too many cases, and there is always someone who needs an option which is not present. The solution: make it possible for someone to add his/her own value.
