How do you get a pdf option for the genomaps? Looking at some other reports on the familytrees.genopro.com site, I see that some genomaps have a pdf button so that you can switch from svg to pdf. I would like to have that on mine. I tried by installing wkhtmltopdf and checking the option "run wkhtmltopdf to convert 'book' html file to PDF format" but that didn't do it.
Thanks, Luciano

PDF GenoMaps are no longer supported in the Narrative Report. They were introduced when few browsers supported SVG and were produced by running Inkscape to convert SVG to PDF and that had its complications. My view is that SVG provides a slicker interface and is now fully integrated into HTML and all modern browsers. It allows user interaction e.g. clicking a gender symbol to display that person's page.
You can of course produce PDF images of your GenoMaps directly from GenoPro's ' Print' option by using one of the many PDF Print Driver such as PrimoPDF. Microsoft provides its own PDF print driver in Windows 10.

The problem with "print to PDF" options is that most of them make it difficult or impossible to print to a single page regardless of size. The nice thing about PDF is the fact that it isn't constrained to standard page sizes... and then the "print to" options all seem to force standard page sizes on us, treating the PDF format no differently from a physical printer. Does anyone know of a good print-to-PDF product (ideally freeware, because I'm worse than broke and still unemployed) that makes custom page sizes easy?

Try 'PDF-XChange Lite' (free) http://www.tracker-software.com/products
This product enables you to define custom page sizes (custom forms) up to the usual PDF limit of 200" x 200" and save the setting as a named custom form for subsequent use.

Many thanks. As was probably apparent from my previous post, I've tried a few print-to-PDF products before, and nearly all of them restrict to standard printer-supported page sizes. Those few I found that had the ability to use custom page sizes all required registration (and, of course, payment). Normally, I'm quite happy to part with $20 for software like this, but right now spending money is like getting water from a stone.

I have also had success with the free version of PDF995 using custom paper sizes,
I created a 200" x 36" PDF for "Johnnycrash" (John Fleming), which he sucessfully had had printed to paper .
