I would like to have a way to do this without repeating the name in another field

Something that would be very nice to see in
GenoProX
is a way to indicate that a
person
uses a middle name as their common familiar name. I have a cousin and a friend who use their second names, and there have been others in my
family
in recent past generations who have done the same.
Using the Nickname field is an
option
, but it seems redundant to repeat the name. Ideally, there would be a checkbox indicating "uses middle name" that, when checked, causes the middle name to display in bold. This becomes a problem if the person has more than one middle name, but I have always been in favour of having two middle name fields in the first
place
.
If anyone else has thoughts on this, including alternate ways to implement it, please
share
them. I am quite certain that there are always better ways to do something than the first method I think of; this has come from
years
of practical experience.
