Just checking on what security regulations you recommend so that I am complying with HIPAA? I am interested in
purchasing
the product for a private practice where I am the only user. I would like to be able to
share
this technology with client. If I
download
the product van I do not have a concern because all of the
information
will stay with my secure platform. From my understanding none of my private information is stored on your site. Is this correct? Since I am the sole provider do I buy a license for a single user or for a site? Thank you!

Since all files of GenoPro are stored on your local machine, you may still be HIPAA compliant if you take security measures when sending files to other. For instance, do not use email to send a GenoPro file to someone else. Instead you need to use a secure mechanism, perhaps sending the file encrypted. If you already have a secure platform, then you may use
GenoPro 2020
and remain compliant with HIPAA. By the way, it is impossible for us (the GenoPro staff) to access any of your data. The only way we have access to
family trees
and
genograms
of our customers is when they send them to us, typically as an email attachment.
Our next product
GenoProX
will be HIPAA compliant. GenoProX already has end-to-end encryption and all data, including files are transmitted securely.
