Thank you for the tip. The ability to set up separate reference dates solves the problem I had with the 2007 version.

If you go to File/Properties then a table similar to that shown in the help article is displayed. You can then set a Date Reference individually for each GenoMap.

I could not follow your solution. In the old days (GENOPRO 2007), I could set the reference date under Options. You directed us to a help article, which contained the following:


Reference Date

You can also set a reference date. By default GenoPro calculate the age of all individual base on the current date, but you can set a past date or any fictionnal date to represent a situation with fix age.


OK, but where in the program to you reset the reference date? If not under Options, where? Sorry if I missed something obvious.

I would like to create a genogram to represent a family at a particular point in time, for example 1999. At the moment when I input birth dates the ages are calculated for the year 2020 however, I would like them calculated for the year 1999. Can anyone advise me how to do this?
