Hi,

Is it possible to store pictures within Genopro? So far, I only see the option for specifying a relative (or full path) picture location.
(This issue is important when transferring and importing a genogram in terms of a Gedcom file. Now, pictures are missing when importing such a Gedcom file on another PC.)

Many thanks for your help.

GenoPro has no facility to store binary data or files within its .gno file, which is simply a zipped XML file (Data.xml).

However it not necessary as it is quite simple to transfer pictures with the .gno if you ensure you store pictures in sub-folder(s) below that containing your.gno file and also ensure you use relative paths.  You can then simply zip the .gno together with the picture folders and send to the recipient who can then unzip the file and access the .gno together with the pictures.
