I have genealogy data which I have under Genopro 2011 version 2.5.4.1
This consists of 1651 individuals, 529 families, 386 unions
1130 sources/citations, 1094 pictures, 288 places, 38 genomaps
I have tried to generate a report and found I was stopped in my tracks with Microsoft VBScript runtime errors
Under Genopro 2011 version 2.5.4.1
I tried with 'Common\Code' scripts version 2023.03.23
Report Language code 'EN' Dictionary version '2023.03.21'
Resulted in Error at line 795, position 4 (Code\init.htm) generating 'init.htm': Object doesn't support this property or method

I tried with Config.xml for skin '\{FR} Rapport narratif\* (2013.10.28)'...

I noticed Post #35923 that seem very similar. The solution suggested in the reply (replace init.htm and individual.htm) also mentioned these files would be included in 2016 update.
I checked the various skins and they all contain init and individual files that are later than November 11, 2017.
Can you help please?

I repeated some of the tests mentioned in my initial report with a totally different set of data and found exactly the same VBScripts errors.

I cannot see anything on line 795 of Init.htm that could be causing this issue.
Please try downloading the latest skin templates from & nbsp ; http://support.genopro.com/Topic40608.aspx and make sure you unzip into a NEW / EMPTY folder as per instructions and use this folder as the GenoPro Report Skins folder by choosing it under the Options tab of the Generate Report dialogue . If you use an existing folder then the link to a previous Common \ Code folder will be retained , possibly causing confusing errors .& nbsp ; If the error persists, please attach a copy of your Common\Code\Init.htm file

You were quite right , i was a mix of different skins that created the problem . I swiped the whole thing clean and reinstalled G2011 with Skins 2023 - 08 - 09 . It worked first time . However it seems much slower than my previous " old " skins version. But I do not generate a rapport very often .... and the present set has many more pictures and sourcesbeing & nbsp ; referenced . I is difficult to judge . Anyway, thank you very much.

I have walked up the folder tree to the personal directory but still get an error message:
[8.21] File Not found: "C:\Skins 2025\{EN} Narrative Report\Code\NarrativeReport\version.txt
Error at line 503, position 4 (Code\init.htm) generating 'init.htm': Invalid procedure call or argument: '[string: "(null)"]'

However, the file version.txt is there with value 2024.06.03
I will see how to attach the init.htm file
