how cann I acces to the gender of {0}?
what means G1 and how can I check the value?

<!--  0=Name's, 1=first|second|third|..., 2=spouse name 3=prefix. 4=him/her G1=gender for param 1  -->
<PhFamilyWith
T="La [{1} ]família d'en {0} [{?2}amb la {2}]"
G1="F"
V="2.0.1.6±"/>

note: the label  PhFamilyWith_F         don't work on this case

The tag G1 is used to specify the required gender of the ordinal number in param {1} and is used to lookup the correct value in Dictionary.xml.  It will be the same  as the gender of the word for 'family' e.g. família. i.e. F for Catalan.

There was no way in the current version of the phrase to determine the gender of either individual or their spouse, but these can be added to the phrase. In the replacement Common\Code\Lang.vbs file attached I have set params 6 & 7  to individual's gender ID and spouse gender ID respectively.

so in Dictionary.xml this can be shown as

<!--  0=Name's, 1=first|second|third|..., 2=spouse name, 3=not used, 4=not used, 5=name short, 6=name's gender 7=spouse's gender, G1=gender for param 1  -->

Thanks for the Answer

Yes, I know what I the G1 mean- My question is, how kann I use then with the Printf..... not als {?G1}  not als {?7ç}

und also yes, I know that I can change the Lang.vbs... im fakt this option have i used for the noun article....

but now the Lang.vbs is not privat, it's common, and I don't want to change it directly

Thanks a lot....

I do not know why you need to access the value of G1 but I have further amended the attached  Common\Code\Lang.vbs to add the value of G1 as parameter 4 in the PhFamilyWith phrase.

I would like the Narrative Report to be useable for any language just via changes to Dictionary.xml and so I am happy to change the scripts to suit all requirements.

The attached Lang.vbs will also be included in my next update to the Report Skins Templates bundle.
