Update prohibition in GenoPro 2011

Forum Newbie Forum Members Last Login: Saturday, October 12, 2024 Posts: 5, Visits: 70	After more than a decade of successful GenoPro 2011 usage and more than 700 linked trees (using External Hyperlinks), I have recently been stopped from making updates to those trees. It is not just the latest amended tree that is affected but also all those that have not been changed. Unable to write file 'C:\ ... \xyz.TemporaryBackup20241004.gno'. Access Denied. Unable to create directory and/or file because of security permissions. Please make sure the file or folder is not read only. None of the .gno files are Read Only so what is the matter and how did it come about? Please can someone explain in simple terms and suggest what I need to do to correct? Thanks.
