I have the Error at line 503, position 4 (Code\init.htm) generating 'init.htm': Invalid procedure call or argument: '[string: "(null)"]' issue. I unzipped the new skins into a fresh skins folder. I changed the Folder where skins are located path but only the old skins show up i.e. the 2023.09.22 version I tried making a new skin and it looked it might change but didn't thanks Philip

Without being a 'fly on the wall' it is difficult for me to see what you have done wrong. If you follow my instructions correctly then you should see the revised skin templates. If the instructions are not clear then please advise. The folder you specify in the field 'Folder where skins are located' under the Options tab must contain direct subfolders for each of the skin templates, e.g. folders named {EN} Narrative Report & {EN} Descendants Report etc.

Initially I renamed the earlier skins folder names. I have now deleted them. But when I click the down arrow the list of the old skins show not any of the new skins even though they are no longer in the Skins Folder Sorry Philip i.e. how do I get the generate to use the new set of skins?

When I speak of the 'Report skins folder' I am referring to the container folder that holds all the other individual Report skin folders. When you say you renamed the earlier skins folder names I am guessing you are referring to the individual skin folders within that containing folder. When you unzip the downloaded report skins bundle you must unzip into a new container folder, not the original skins container folder. Then choose this new container folder as the 'Folder where skins are located'

Unfortunately there appears to be a problem with this forum at present such that when creating, editing, replying the message area is a plain text box rather than the Rich Text Editor box that it should be. The Rich Text Editor library provides features for text enhancement (bold, italic, colour, font size etc.) and allows insertion of pictures, links and also file attachments.I will message GenoPro Support to see if this problem can be resolved.

UPDATE This issue has now been fixed and the 'attach files' link is now back on the tool bar above this message box, along with all the usual Rich Text Editor buttons BigGrin

I have only recently been updating our tree and I have been getting a registry error when launching Genopro, I don't know what changed so I uninstalled Genopro and reinstalled it and the reporting is now working correctly. Sorry for raising the issue as it appears it was not a Genopro error but an environmental error. Philip

Sorry again, I have a software policy to secure my Laptop and I forgot I need to turn it off when running software not in the appropriate container. Philip
