Seems like the familytrees service being down did not trip the try … catch … statement in my JScript leading to a false positive on the version check. I'll tighten up the code for the next release. 

As to the 'link' not working, it is not a clickable link but copying and pasting the url text into a browser should have worked but it doesn't (I swear I tested it but must have been another 'senior moment' Hehe ). I've now changed the tag associated with the updated skins thread so it should now work correctly Whistling
I will also try and copy the url to the windows clipboard in the next release so that it can simply be pasted into a browser address bar.

p.s. I inadvertently set the wrong date for the update check on familytrees whe testing this which would have lead to more false positives about an update being available, but hopefully sorted now.

This was probably caused by the FamilyTrees service being unavailable yesterday.

I no longer get the warning about a new skin version being available.

I've got a new Windows 11 system on which I did a clean install of GenoPro.
I downloaded the latest skin version (2025-03-30) from the support forum and gave it a first try by generating a small EN Narrative Report.

Strange enough, I got following warning:



Before someone starts throwing rocks at W11, I had the same warning on a W10 system.
Anyone else having the same?
