Hi! I am working on a large family tree based on the Warrior Cats book series, but due to most characters in the series keeping bloodlines within their own clans, the tree tends to have a lot of intersecting lines after a while. While I can tell what's going on if I really focus, its generally very difficult to distinguish lines from each other at first glance. I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for ways to make the lines more distinguishable from each other? On previous trees I had just changed the colors of all the mate/spouse connection lines but had to make them all different colors so the same colors wouldn't intersect and it got very chaotic, especially since I am trying to make this one as concise as possible.

Thanks in advance!!

*Here's an example of how the intersecting lines look on their own. Especially for characters like Willowpelt who has children with three separate mates, distinguishing the third mate from her other children is kind of difficult with only black and grey lines.
