I open a new topic, having not received any response to the previous request. I recently installed Genopro on a PC with Windows 11. I had always used it on Windows 10.These are the anomalies:
- The horizontal and vertical scroll bars on the GenoMaps suddenly stop working: this usually happens when the genomap is minimized with the mouse wheelFrom then on, you can only move with the arrow keys.
- The "Data tips" option doesn't work; the suggestions for the surname/name/place of birth fields never appear on any field. The "Data tips" option has no effect.
Are these problems unsolvable with Windows 11?
Kind regards

Hi Vittorino,'Data Tips' refer to the yellow background comments that appear when you hover over an object, e.g. individual, family line etc. are are far as I can see are working normally on Windows 11 and turn off/on via the View menu, Data Tips setting. But I believe you are referring to auto-complete on fields such as name, place etc. Again on windows 11 to me they appear to be working as expected e.g. if I clear a surname on a Properties dialogue and then start typing a name then the auto-complete drop down appears. Ensure that you have the auto-complete setting turned on by right clicking on say the surname field in a properties dialogue and check that the 'Auto Drop Down List' setting is set to 'Display Above' or 'Display Below' and not 'Never Display' As regards scroll bars, I guess it has something to do with Windows 11 auto hiding scroll bars but I feel you are unlikely to get a response from GenoPro (aka Dan Morin) on this forum as his visits to this forum are rare. The only advice I can offer is to try and avoid zooming out with the mouse wheel beyond the scroll bar useability limit

Thanks, Ron. I had completely forgotten about the "autocomplete fields" option and attributed the whole problem to changing PCs. The lack of zoom in large genealogical maps will be a problem, and it would be helpful to keep an old Windows 10 to use with Genopro for medium-large maps. Best regards

You can still zoom using the mouse wheel. Just do not use the % command, and if you do, stop and restart GenoPro should "unblock" this.
