I recently finished the 1977 National Book Award winning novel The Spectator Bird.  I had a tough time following the genealogy in the book, so I decided to input it into GenoPro.

You can find the tree here: https://familytrees.genopro.com/Niko/TheSpectatorBird/default.htm

The Date of Reference is June 1st, 1954:

All ages appear correct in GenoPro:

But when I run the Narrative Report, all the ages are off by 16 years, except Landgreve (Count) Eigil Johan Rodding (in the upper left hand corner):

EDIT: I've also attached an updated .gno file

I've made some updates to the GenoPro file, and uploaded the recent .gno file above.

I added a second genomap with a date in 1974.

The ages in the 1974 Genomap all appear to be correct, while in the 1954 Genomap, all the ages, except for two, appear to be off by 16 years.  I clicked on a bunch of them to confirm I hadn't accidentally switched to a different calendar, and that doesn't seem to be a problem.

I also noticed in the Narrative Report Timeline, that the "Now" date is drawn at 2026, instead of 1954-06-01.  I "think" the "Now" line used to be drawn at the Date Reference point?  Yes? No?

I have a fix for the age issue but doing more testing . When setting ages, if the individual died before the reference date it was inadvertently being reset to that date of death 😳
I'll check on the Now date.
