Hi,
I've worked with this problem.
the problem is that the wife have a link with another "genomap".
On the report I can see the man, both wife (one hiperlink) and all the kinds.
If I do the same without the link all is Ok..
I put a example file on http://www.batalla.org/genopro/man2wife.zip
Thanks

I am not sure what causes this problem maybe it is the internal hyperlinks and maybe not, but it is there when I generate the report using the original template.
The husband has internal hyperlink to another GenoMap.
After generating the report - The husband has a link to his spouse in the report, but his wife dosn't have it. She only have "Spouse: name of spouse" without hyperlink to his page.
I think what may cause this problem is that both objects of the same individual (in two different GenoMaps) are not sharing the same Permanent ID.

It seams to that this is on line with my previous thoughts as mentioned in the last post of :
Topic5736-58-1.aspx...
Could it be resolved on any other way... I'm not to familiar with programing and databases... altough I would like to be...

I think this problem is related to the "outstanding issues" at the bottom of the page http://www.genopro.com/NewReportGenerator/ . I have to revise the pedigree link to add additional fields and will fix problems related to the hyperlinks. When an individual has been hyperlinked, the links to spouses and children are sometimes wrong and/or missing.

I hope that's it...
Could it be a solution for posibility of selection beyond hyperlink. Can it be resolved anyhow? :?:

I don't fully understand why, but the problem with missing hyperlinks on the report for spouses on a different GenoMap is fixed if you generate 'Individual' pages for All Individuals by changing a line in config.xml
change <Report Template="individual.htm" OutputFile="{id}.htm" For="Individuals" LoopItemName="i" _SortBy="age, name.last, name.first" />
| to <Report Template="individual.htm" OutputFile="{id}.htm" For="AllIndividuals" LoopItemName="i" _SortBy="age, name.last, name.first" />
|
This will also cause a page to be generated for individuals marked as 'exclude_from_report', but it should be possible to fix this as well.
e.g. In Individual.htm use:
If i.exclude_from_report="Y" then Report.AbortPage
Update: The above change for missing hyperlinks doesn't fix all cases. I've used a 'reverse link' as well in my 'Sample Report' (see Topic6778-60-1.aspx)
