I am not sure whether this should be included as '
Help
', 'How to' or 'Wish List' but here it is.
I wanted to select all of the records into a table. In my case it was to sort on age to identify where I needed to change the record of
death
; none of my ancestors went beyond 100, at least to my knowledge. You might also want to copy the data into a
spreadsheet
.
When I tried to use '*' to select all records it was not recognised. I got round it by using 'i' and ticking the 'IDs' box; this also provided a quick way of counting the number of
individuals
in the
tree
.
Is there a reason why '*' on its own is not recognised as a
search
item? I know that a spreadsheet is limited in the number of rows but that is a separate issue
