Beta 14 will have support for macros. You will be able to write the following code to transfer the data:

For Each i In Individuals
i.TreeAddress = i.comment
i.comment = ""
Next

Assuming you already a custom field named "TreeAddress".

I was using version 1.91b when I entered my data and I used the "Comment" field to enter my tree address. This is a relative address like "3.2.5" indicating that the person is the 5th child of the 2nd child of the 3rd child of the root ancestor. Now that Custom tags are available, it would be most appropriate to have one called "Tree Address" but how do I copy the whole "Comment' field such a custom tag?
