Using tag editor for baptism data

I thought there had been some information on how to use the editor but using the Search on both forums (?fora) did not find anything useful. So does anyone out there have any guidance on using the tag editor? My target is the ability to display a baptism date on the GenoMap where the birth date is not recorded. I do not use records of baptism (or christening) as evidence of year of birth.
