I tried to make a new Individual Tag.Layout Name = "Displays" The "Tag Permanent Name" is "new_custom_tag" (default) The "Tag Display Name" is "{YoB_YoD} {birth.place}" Then I select "Display/Displays/new_custom_tag" I want to se the birth date and the place... but over the picture is no text.... I think that is the idea of customize Tags..... but not work

The Tag Editor needs serious improvements. The underlying architecture of GenoPro has provisions for many types of user-defined tags, such as text, dates, ojbects and more, however the Tag Editor is not complete yet.

Yehudad has got part of it. I had always assumed that a tag was a pointer to a field in a database and had not worked out how we could use the tag editor. Looking at the editor and at Custom tags did not help much, so I left it alone until the reference to siblings.twins. I had not realised this tag existed.
Having had a go with the editor there are two questions now. I have found that if you just add text into the editor, eg 'Lodger' for an individual, this creates a column in the Table and so presume a new field is also created. So:-
1 In the editor, what is the difference between the two panels: Dialog Layouts and Tags for Dialog Layout 'Custom Tags'. I used the second as it seemed less likely to cause problems as it appears to be a lower order.
2 having created a Tag, how do you use it. Am I correct in assuming the only method of adding data is through the Table? Presumably the Report Generator can access it, if it is told that it exists.
So Yes Yehudad: are there any instructions on using the Tags and Editor?

Can you remind us where there is information on using the tag editor?I don't understand this question... can you elaborate a bit more please? I think that appleshaw wanted to know where he can find the online help (if there is such) on using GenoPro's Tag Editor. e.g how to create a new tag

Eventually, the report generator whould write something about twins. You are welcome to use the tag i.siblings.twins to display the twin siblings.

Even though two siblings are twins, one is older than the other, if only by minutes!However, I noticed that the report generator does not show that they are twins - just that they were born on the same day. Feature for a later version?

I have notices that if there are twins, the report generator still makes one of them as the "oldest" Brother/sister the the other one as the "youngest". Is it a bug?
