Let's say I have all my families info in the genogram and I need to maybe change someone from a Jr. to a Sr.  So I change the information and hit save.  Now I generate the report and it's still giving me the old information.  When this happened with the siblings I found that the problem was not any pedigree link problem, but that the report generator was pointing to the old information.  So I went in and deleted the old file and everything was fine.  I even tried to get slick and do a save as and rename the file the same name as before.

So, what is the best method for changing someone's information and how do I keep the software from constantly changing the file name.

Thanks so much.

I don't get it. Did you change the information, saved the file and then run the Report Generator and got the old information?

If this is what you did then check if you dont have a duplicate files of your family. Second - did you also delete the xml file or just the gno file? a lot of information is stored in the xml file and if you don't delete it the old information is still saved.
