I am more than willing to change the code to do this. It's absolutely not rocket science so even someone like me could do this. :-)

It does however require that none else is making changes to the report at that moment to prevent losing changes. I, personally, would prefer not to have to do this change 10 times the next couple of months.

At the moment, I am focusing on finishing GenoPro 2.0 for January 2006 and I only reply to "urgent" messages to save time because January is coming quickly.  I plan to keep improving GenoPro for the next decades... all suggestions will be re-considered after v2.0.

Cheers,

Hi,

I would like to propose that the various different objects (individual pages, family pages, genomaps, pictures etc) all could have their own base path. At this moment only the pictures can have their own base path which is relative to the path provided in the Generate Report dialog.

The reason is simple. I am creating three different websites, one for privileged family members, one for family members and one for non-family members. Some of the objects can be shared across websites (like the genomaps), and some don't (like the individual pages).

The genomaps directory for my file is more than 5mb in size. I would *really* like to share that between the various websites. I am already sharing the pictures part (approx. 40mb after having the pictures rescaled to 400x400 pixels)

Another reason why you would want to do this, is to have different access rights, different caching mechanisms etc on the various parts of the report.

I have successfully changed the code to do this, but I really wouldn't like to continue doing this forever when upgrading to a new version. According to my personal opinion, this shouldn't be a big deal since we can easily have them as report parameters, and the less hardcoded values we have, the better it is.

rgds,

Ronald
