I have now removed my arrows

I have updated Beta 15c with the new arrow.  If you download Beta 15c again (http://www.genopro.com/InstallGenoProBeta.exe), you will get the fix.

My list shows no "stray objects" atall at the moment, having used the same file I sent you.

All those orphan objects ae from the missing pictures.  Since you have two pictures with places, there are two orphan places.  By the way, Beta 15c uses a different privacy filtering.  Maybe you will get a different result.

I see where the problem is: The processing of the template parameter _fValidatePictureCache is done after the deletion of the stray (orphan) objects.  Of course, the routine validating the pictures does remove any "invalid" picture which may create new orphan objects.

I am including a screenshot of the 247 stray objects.  Do you have the same list, or you have a different number of orphan objects?

... when I make a report of a single genomap, locations and pictures, which belong to other genomaps and which are therefore not stray objects, are included in this report.

Technically, those stray objects should be removed, however I am aware there are cases of places (locations) and pictures not removed because of circular references.  For instance, a picture of a place will not be considered "orphan/stray" because it is used by the place.  This place is considered used by the picture, and therefore not removed.

I need to fix the algorithm to better detect orphan objects (stray objects) to remove them.

If you want, you are welcome to send me your .gno file and tell me which GenoMap you are trying to generate a report.  I will take a look and confirm if the problem is within the algorithm or there is a bug somewhere else.

Thanks, but this function is always on.
I also check always the "delete stray objects" from the menu. This function deletes stray objects from the whole genopro file, but when I make a report of a single genomap, locations and pictures, which belong to other genomaps and which are therefore not stray objects, are included in this report.

When creating reports from just one genomap, more places/locations and more pictures than actually used in that genomap are being recorded and copied. Any reason or how can this prevented?

Yes.  Enable the option Delete Stray Objects.  This option will delete any unused object (pictures, occupations, sources).  After deleting some GenoMaps, your document will have many stray/orphan objects.
