I, in fact, explored the Delete menu before reading your answer. Thanks.

However It's still my opinion that the "stray items" should be ignored by the report generator.

Have you tried the Delete menu.  The Delete menu offers a wide range of options to delete pictures, placesoccupations, sources and like.  At the bottom of this menu, you will find the Delete Stray Objects which allows you to display all objects having zero dependents.

When in "display > Places & Locations" view in Genopro, the table shows 2 locations with blanks in the column titled "Dependents / Assigned to". These entries are redundant (they're still here after modif of 2 individuals B-day places) but I cannot remove them because I cannot find any "Delete" option. The trouble is they also appear within the generated report. To my opinion, you should implement a kind of "purge" routine prior generating the report. Thanks and good programming.
