Interesting idea, so I had a look at mine and found only blank frames and no details.

Is it too early or is there a problem with the stats ?

No problem with mine. I was interested to see how many people had found the sites already - so although my first thought about statistics was "Why bother?" they have already shown to be interesting

The statistics are now visible, the problem was linked with url encoding since your report has spaces encoded as %20.

Wow! I was stunned to see how many visits there have been recently to my tree.

I had no idea that it would be so high as I had expected perhaps 20 or 30 at most and never imagined 4000! Hehe

Thanks for fixing the page.

4000 is probably a bot (Google, Msn, Yahoo!...) that crawled out the entire web site. Check out the unique visitors for more conservative number as the bot will count for only 1 visitor.

I see what you mean, as I hadn't scrolled down far enough and had noticed 4000 pages visited in March, but now see that the daily figures are more modest though still gratifying.

It's a great feature. Thank you Dan.

I would also like to recommend another stats generator that can be downloaded from  http://www.weppos.com/asg/en/default.asp

But - you must have your own server or your host server must support ASP. I'm not sure if Genopro supports ASP features for users, So I use my own Server. I've added a short code to my Skin code in genopro, and I can get very detailed statistics about the visitors of my website.

Look at a demo at: http://www.weppos.com/stats/statistiche.asp

The demo is in Italian but there is also an English and an Hebrew Version

Thanks.  In fact, my brother JC wrote all of it Smile.  We do support ASP, but tend to favor ASP.NET.

I would also like to recommend another stats generator that can be downloaded from  http://www.weppos.com/asg/en/default.asp

There is lots of web statistic tool around but they can't be applied for familytrees.genopro.com since publication statistic of all users would be mixed up if we use IIS log directly. Adding a page counter to each page would required server side execution such as ASP or PHP and it's disabled for security reason. Even with ASP enable that wouldn't apply to each report; we plan to have plenty of different report in the future.

The stats will improved over time for sure, the current stat are also very lightweight for the server, I'm not sure for weppos but many of the visitors analysis become CPU intensive over times.

You are welcome to tell us your suggestions how to improve the service.
