It appear your editor does something tricky with the XML content. If you use Notepad on Windows XP, you should be able to edit any Swedish characters without problem.

Im sorry to post what is probably a non-genopro question, but I really need to ask this...

Over and over, I get the same thing:
My dictionary file gets messed up, with the tags being overwritten like this::

<_FmtPlurial T="are"/>
<_FmtPlurialCount T="were"/>
<_FmtPlurialCardinal T="has"/>
<_Cardinal_0 T="had"/>
<_Cardinal_1 T="have"/>
<_Cardinal_2 T="they"/>
<_Cardinal_3 T="Subsequently they"/>
0=husband name, 1=wife name
<_Cardinal_4 T="[{?0^1}{0} and {1}][?!0^1}they]"/>

<_Cardinal_5 T="child" P="children" C1="a child"/>

<_Cardinal_6 T="son" C1="a son"/>
<_Cardinal_7 T="daughter" C1="a daughter"/>
<_Cardinal_8 T="pet" />
<_Cardinal_9 T="child of unknown gender" P="children of unknown gender" C1="a child of unknown gender"/>
<_Cardinal_10 T="son" C1="a son"/>

I do not know how, only that it happens, all the time, and since I retype it over and over, I would really like some input.
I think I have had it using different editors, so it seems almost as if it were GenoPro's report generator affecting the files. Tonight, it happened between two runs of the generator. The Dictionary had an error since brother had no plural alternative, I added the plural, and: behold: all errors, and a messed up file.

Now, my guess is that the addition of the swedish letter ö (o with two dots over it) may have something to do with it. Can I code them with ascii to avoid the problem?

Hopefully, and repeatedly translating,

Anna
