When I first looked at this my first idea was to create a hyperlinked copy and then to change the sex of the copy. Did not work as it changes the sex of the original at the same time. But is this a possible way forward - to have a different order of hyperlink, which would have to specifically invoked?

I have used a similar idea to show a possible break in my family tree. An ancestor, Elizabeth, had a child in 1797. In 1770 a Betty was baptised as daughter of Joshua and this is the only record that fits but it is not proof yet.

On the genogram I have put Elizabeth at the top of our tree and Betty at the foot of her family. The link by hyperlink demonstrates a probable connection which is qualified by comments. The Report does show Betty is the daughter of Joshua but does contain the note qualifying the link
