I'd like to upload my tree to http://familytrees.genopro.com/ and have followed the directions outlined on that page to do so. I have a registered copy of GenoPro and recently upgraded to GP2007.

I can login here: http://support.genopro.com/Logon.aspx with no problem (password works) but when I attempt to upload my tree through the software using the Report Generator I get a passward error. I'm asked if I'd like my password emailed to me and I select yes but have yet to receive it via email. What am I doing wrong?  Is there an issue with the Report Generator that I missed while searching the forum? Help!?!

Thanks,

Scott

The report generator uses the same password as your login for this forum.  It is possible your firewall however is blocking the GenoPro from sending data to GenoPro.com.  Do you have a firewall installed on your machine?

Yep, I've turned off my Anti-virus firewall and the Windows XP firewall too. Still no go.

Could it be that my gold key is from a earlier version of GP?  I just upgraded to GP2007 after getting an email saying I could do so at no cost etc.

Make sure you are typing the same email and password to publish than the report generator.

You can also try using your user name psmcd instead of your email.

Publishing online has nothing to do with a registration key.  To retrieve your registration key (GoldenKey), just type your email in the registration dialog (http://www.genopro.com/registration/).  Your registration key will be sent by email.

If you are having problems with your password, you are welcome to change it using the control panel http://support.genopro.com/ControlPanel.aspx.
