I generated a report and uploaded it to my web site.

I see the message: "If you are using Internet Explorer and have GenoPro installed on your computer, you may click on this link to view the genealogy tree within your browser. View My Ancestors and Relatives in your browser "

I do have the GenoPro installed on my computer (not on the web host) and yet I get a blank page.

Do you have any ideas?

Thanks,

Shikhmanter

Can you post a link to your website? We need to determine what website is hosting the .gno file.  You may need to configure your web server to serve .gno files.

sure, the link is:

www.shikhmanter.com

The specific link is:

http://www.shikhmanter.com/web_pages/Roots_Heb/default.htm

The host any way is  GoDaddy.com

My browser displays the following when opening the file FamilyTree.gno

PK

This means the file is transmitted as plain text instead of the MIME type application/octet-stream. If the server says the .gno file is a text file, then the browser will display its content as text, instead of a family tree.  You need to ask GoDaddy to add the extension .gno to their MIME type.  There may be other configurations necessary such as hosting the .svg files. See http://www.genopro.com/help/report-generator/web-publishing/hosting/ for details.

Another solution is to host your report to http://familytrees.genopro.com/ and you won't have problems.  We created http://familytrees.genopro.com/ because too many proble had difficulties hosting our reports.
