To make a genealogy website, FamilyInHistory at http://www.familyinhistory.com is an option where you can upload a GEDCOM and with no web experience make a professional family tree website. Once you have your tree, you can add pictures, stories and other information about your ancestors. There is a subscription fee, but there is a 30-day free trial to give it a spin first.

Geni has a cool interface but since it does not support GEDCOM upload, it's not a great solution because you have to re-enter all of the people in your family tree by hand.

WeRelate is a based on a good idea (wiki for genealogy) but is still quite cumbersome. It does allow GEDCOM import which is a plus. I imagine once they raise more money to work on the site, it could be an interesting resource for genealogists.
