By the way, we found the source of the problem. About a month ago, we did a database upgrade and started having database deadlocks. Under rare conditions, the database would lockup and fail to update a piece of data. We are using our database heavily, for many purposes, including web visitor statistics, the entire forum http://support.genopro.com, http://familytrees.genopro.com, and all the free registration keys we give to our users. It is unfortunate a deadlock occurred while you purchased GenoPro, because the deadlock rate was less than one in a million. It took us a few days to pinpoint the deadlock problem, and after changing some configuration parameters, our deadlock problem was solved. We have been running for 3 weeks without a single deadlock.

Dear Patricia,According to our logs, we indeed received your PayPal payment, however I was unable to find a key to your account. We are investigating the issue why the script generating your key did not worked. I put two keys in your account (click on http://support.genopro.com/ControlPanel.aspx to view them). Feel free to give your extra key to anyone you wish. By the way, the keys are permanent, that is, you can use GenoPro 2007 for as long as you wish without paying any extra. Sorry about this. We are working our best to serve our customers and I wonder if there are any other customers in you situation. I verified the last 10 PayPal transactions and all of them received their key. Please help me! I purchased my GenoPro software on May 3, 2008, and now it says my registration key has expired on May 8, 2008 - I can no longer use my program! Can you fix this please and send me another registration key that works, or is this a rip off??! I paid money for this program, isn't my purchase good for a year?!Thanks
