Hi, every time I try to generate and publish a report to my account on Genopro, I get an error message (below). I've tried different things, including installing the program and fiddling about with the report settings etc but to no avail. Can anyone help plz? The error reported is as follows: Publishing report to http://familytrees.genopro.com/jom_6@yahoo.co.uk/ Connecting to server familytrees.genopro.com... Cloning document Document2... The privacy filter has removed 9 living individuals which represents 4% of the total document. To turn off the privacy filter, visit the "Privacy" tab and uncheck the option "Remove All Living Individuals". Opening configuration file Config.xml for skin 'English Narrative Report'... Loading Dictionary.xml... [0.00] Processing template 'init.htm'...Error at line 36, position 1 (init.htm): 8002801D

If you put the error 8002801D that the report shows into the Search of this forum you will find advice on how to sort things out

Unfortunately there are a number of potential causes of the error 8002801D and this seems to be one that has not been reported before. They are all related to some problem with the Windows Scripting Host installed on your system.This one occurs when the script tries to create a scripting FileSystem object that is part of the Windows Scripting Runtime package: | Set oFso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") |
To fix this, first try registering the dll for the Scripting Runtime | Regsvr32.exe "C:\Windows\System32\scrrun.dll" |
N.B. your windows folder by be different from the above. check that the file scrrun.dll does exist. also make sure your antivirus software (e.g. Kaspersky) is not blocking scripts If this fails then download the latest version of the 'Windows Scripting Host' for your Windows version from Microsoft and install it.

I have another problem when I try to generate a report for publishing on the Genopro website. The whole error message is below. Please help.

The second line of the error message suggests you are not using the latest Report Skin ie dated 2015/05/05

If this is not the case you will have to wait until Ron picks this up
